Looking down from "iron bridge" towards the nine arches and milltown. If you look hard enough you can just make out the towers at ballymun. This area is referred to as iron bridge because of the cast iron footbridge that remained here for many years after the closure of the harcourt street line. It was removed around 1999. A pity really, it would have made a nice feature on the luas if they'd restored it or somthing, but it was probably rusted to bits. |
